I actually went bar hopping last night. It was great. Sean and I headed over to Central Square to check out a bar b we had never been to. But we needed food first so we stopped at The Good Life for a quick bite to eat. We were feeling the atmosphere there with live jazz so we moved to the bar when we finished eating. Eventually we dragged outselves out and headed across the street to the Enormous Room which was purported to be a loungey type place with good music. It was pretty cool. It needs better people, some promoting and more control over the music. The DJ was a little on the wild side. But it would make an excellent place for a private party. Leaving the Enormous Room, we wandered back across the street to see what was going on at the Phoenix Landing. I hadn't been there in ages and used to spend many nights a week there. Thursday at the Landing is Elements, a drum'n'bass night. We walked in a were assaulted about the head by the beats DJ Static was pushing from the turntables. It was an insane scene with people jumping all over the place. We stayed there until just before closing and then headed home. Excellent night!
