carwreck.com: around Boston harbor...
more airbag
I went and surveyed the damage this morning. My car is not going to salvageable. The damage looks to be more costly than what the car is valued at, so I plan on getting rid of the car. Fortunately there is a lot more value to the car in separate pieces. So it is time to part out the car. Tonight I had it towed to where I work, and from there I will probably take it to James and the Saabworks collection of busted-ass cars.

Holy shit dude, I'm sorry... my condolences on your loss. I loved when we were driving through Boston in the rain. I found out what turbo meant (BALLS). Thank goodness you and your peeps came out ok. Peace out...

Yo man, glad to hear that you and your passengers came out unscathed. Those airbags can be really dangerous. Take it easy, aiight?

as some of my closer compadres know car crashes are one of my favorite forms of entertainment. I personally have been a few doozies in my day and fortunately have been able to walk away from them all with no damage to myself or other persons. that being said i love the high that i have after these crashes. a massive feeling of euphoria. it is like a rollercoaster that has gone off the tracks... a truly wild and uncontrolable set of circumstances.
I am in no way advocating reckless driving (i would never do that ;) ) or intentionally crashing but... it is unfortunate that one is out a car and that you might have some bruises the next day but I think that there is a silver lining to the cloud.
people drink, ingest other chemicals to get 'out of control' to loose themselves in an experience. all the while that experince is pretty calculated and easy to manage, ie. i take this pill or drink this drink and this is what is going to happen... in contrast a car crash is pretty interesting b/c there is really no controlling the outcome of that... i wonder if it is sick to consider this a form of entertainment... it is surely unconventional.
but people participate in extreme sports and/or push and strain their bodies athletically (ever hear of a runner's high) to achieve similar bio-chemical reactions and that seems ordinary enough, perhaps a bit compulsive in some cases but ordinary....
well i have waxed on long enough... glad you and everyone else is ok... that is the main thing... oh and the big question now is... wha tis the next car... more swedish front wheel drive silliness... american muscle... bavarian bomber? hrm... very very interesting prospects...

Ouch, sorry about the Aero. Mind you, you could help out RallyHo Motorsports by using the insurance check on this fine automobile...
