RIP: 1985 Saab 900turbo "The Grasshopper"

Sideways into a tree at 80mph is not good for a car. Co-driver (C. Paulsen) was treated and released and driver (J. Fox) is recuperating in the hospital with a bad ankle injury.

This car was a passion for me and James. We spent months building her and he's spent a couple years since then tweaking, wrenching and massaging. She was a a wonderful car and got us through many a hairy situation while racing in the woods, on the backroads, in a sport known as performance rally.

What a shame about the grasshopper--I bet she was a blast to drive around in the woods! Hopefully you can get another set of wheels race ready after everyone's healed and is ready to go again (surely everyone is healed up by now).
